Debbie Sue’s artistic path has followed a decidedly meandering course over time. She has pursued art in a wide range of mediums including drawing, painting, acrylic sculpture, mosaics, paper jewelry, mixed media assemblage and felting.

Debbie Sue often collects items with a history or unusual patina then repurposes them serendipitously with no preconceived notions. The materials themselves inspire the story.

 

She continues to invent new items and themes that reflect a sense of whimsy and humor. Her assemblage creations are, in some cases, interactive with moving parts that invite the viewer to touch them. Her hand felted " COZY" fashion accessories are colorfully playful, comfortable and one of a kind.
